What is an official or certified translation?
It is a translation made and signed by a translator accredited by the Judicial Council of Ecuador (perito traductor), so it can be filed in official procedures in Ecuador or abroad. At Traductia, official translations are done by accredited translators.
Are certified, official and sworn translation the same thing?
In Ecuador the three terms are used almost interchangeably for a translation made by an accredited perito traductor. "Sworn" is the usual term in Spain. If the receiving institution also asks for notarization or an apostille, we tell you when we quote.
Which documents do you translate for visas and studies abroad?
Diplomas, academic certificates and transcripts, birth certificates, police records and other official certificates requested by consulates and universities.

How much does an official translation cost?
