Document translation

Official document translation with legal validity

We translate your documents into English, French or Italian — or into Spanish — signed by a translator accredited by Ecuador's Judicial Council, so consulates, universities and public agencies in Ecuador and abroad accept them.

Documents we translate

Every official translation is done and signed by an accredited translator. These are the documents we are asked for most:

Legal and notarial

Legal documents and contracts, official Judicial Council certificates, apostilles and notarizations.

Academic

Diplomas, academic certificates and documents to study at universities abroad.

Personal and immigration

Birth certificates, police records and other certificates consulates ask for visas.

Machine translation or official translation?

A machine translator helps you understand a text, but it has no legal validity. When a consulate, a university or a court asks for a translation, it usually requires one made and signed by an accredited translator. That is an official translation, also called certified or sworn.

We translate between Spanish, English, French and Italian.

Frequently asked questions

What to know about official translation

Another question? Message us on WhatsApp and we will answer.

Which documents need an official translation?

The ones you will file in another language with an official body: for example diplomas and certificates to study abroad, birth certificates or police records for a visa, or contracts and legal documents.

Can I send a scanned document?

Yes. Send us a legible photo or PDF on WhatsApp or by email and we will reply with the price and delivery time.

Does the translation need an apostille?

It depends on the country and the receiving institution: sometimes only the original is apostilled, sometimes the translation too. We tell you when we quote.
