Background checks
FBI Identity History Summary and state background checks, notarized or apostilled.
Retiring or moving to Ecuador
Moving to Ecuador from the US? Your documents usually have to be filed in Spanish. We translate your background check, birth and marriage certificates, pension letters and bank statements, signed by a translator accredited by Ecuador's Judicial Council.
The ones we are asked for most for retirement (pensioner), residency and tourist visas:
FBI Identity History Summary and state background checks, notarized or apostilled.
Birth, marriage and divorce certificates.
Social Security or pension letters, bank statements and proof of income.
The US and Ecuador are both part of the Hague Apostille Convention, so a US document is usually apostilled in the US first (by the Secretary of State of the issuing state, or by the US Department of State for federal documents such as the FBI report) and then translated. Check the current requirements for your visa type; when we quote, we tell you what to send.
Send us a clear photo or PDF on WhatsApp or by email from the US. We reply in English with the price and delivery time, and you receive the translation digitally. If the authority asks for a hard copy, we tell you how we deliver it.
Standardized, transparent pricing based on the current regulation for sworn translators and interpreters.
